Magical Green Escape

Spend half your time with us in a jungle canopy treehouse and the rest soaking up the tranquility of Chieow Laan Lake from your floating rafthouse bungalow.

On arrival at Khao Sok, it's time for a delicious lunch, followed by your choice of river inner tubing or a relaxing Thai massage. Either way, it's a relaxing way to start your green escape.

Enjoy dinner under the stars before retiring to your rainforest treehouse to be lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature.

The following morning, after a hearty breakfast, you'll set off for a full day jungle hike with your English speaking, local guide. Take along your swimming gear, as you'll have ample opportunity to take one or more dips in the refreshing waters of Klong Sok River along the way. A packed lunch is included as part of this activity, which you can stop to enjoy along the way.

Returning to the resort in the late afternoon, you're sure to appreciate the delicious selection of Thai and western items on the restaurant menu for dinner.

The following day, you'll have time to explore Khao Sok in the manner that suits you best. Your choices include a jungle elephant trek, a guided canoe trip down the Klong Sok River or another (half day) guided National Park jungle walk. Then it's free time for the rest of the day before another delicious meal at the resort's welcoming open-air restaurant.

On the third day, you'll say goodbye to your treehouse early in the morning, travelling by vehicle then longtail boat to your overnight accommodation - your very own floating rafthouse at Chieow Laan Lake.

On arrival at the floating rafthouses, take a quick dip in the emerald green waters of Chieow Laan Lake before enjoying a scrumptious Thai lunch. Then it's off for an easy guided jungle walk with a visit to a local cave (weather dependent).

In the evening you'll enjoy a selection of southern Thai specialty foods with just the stars & the sounds of nature as your backdrop.

The next morning, board your longtail boat in search of wildlife, before returning to the rafthouses for a delicious breakfast. Then it's time to set off across the lake for another jungle trekking adventure with your guide. After your hike, you'll have lunch at another of the lake's floating rafthouses and be taken sightseeing on your way back to your accommodation.

Another evening under the stars, before settling down at night to the sounds of nature.

On the third morning, set off for more wildlife spotting with your guide or perhaps you'd like to have a lazy morning with just the haunting sounds of gibbon calls as your backdrop.

After breakfast, it's time for a guided canoe trip, before returning in the late morning.

Lunch is another delicious offering, then you've some free time until late afternoon, when you'll again have the opportunity to go sightseeing with your guide. Dinner is again a spread of local Thai dishes.

On the final morning, the choice is yours - wildlife spotting, a guided canoe trip, a swim, relaxation or all of the above.

After lunch, it's time to bid a fond farewell to your rainforest hideaway.

Please note: This trip can run in reverse order, staying at Chieow Laan Lake on the first nights and Khao Sok on the final nights.
