Khao Sok & Chieow Laan Lake (Rachabrappha Lake)

Khao Sok National Park comprises 739 sq km of spectacular limestone cliffs, rainforest, and bamboo jungle.

Located in the central mountainous spine of southern Thailand (see map), this natural oasis is home to Chieow Laan Lake (also known as Rachabrappha Lake), a 165 sq km body of water, which sustains a myriad of wildlife and flora in the area.

Both Chieow Laan & Khao Sok are located just off Highway 401.

Chieow Laan Lake is located just one hour from Surat Thani and 3.5 hours from Phuket. Khao Sok is located 2 hours from Surat Thani and 2.5 hours from Phuket.
